This package offers the essential Arctic winter experience:

Program:
Day 1:

• Pickup at Kirkenes airport, boat harbour, or Thon or Scandic hotel in town, based on your choice
• Check-in
• 12:00 Lunch available in Gabba Café
• 13:00 Husky Safari
• 15:00 If you chose Gamme cabin for first night, it is now ready. Relax in your room, or explore the camp
• 17:30 Welcome tour for all Snowhotel overnighters, starting in Gabba
• 19:00 Dinner time in Snowhotel Restaurant "Låven"
• 20:30 Icebar is open

Day 2:

• 07:00 - 10:00 Breakfast
• Have some Snowfun in the park, meet huskies and reindeer
• 13:00 King Crab Safari w/lunch
• 16:00 Relax, explore or Sauna
• 19:00 Dinner time
• 20:30 Icebar open

Day 3:

• 08:00 - 10:00 Breakfast
• 09 - 10 Transfer to airport, Kirkenes or harbor

• Day 1: Hunting the Northern Lights by bus 21:00
• Day 2: Hunting the Northern Lights by Snowmobile 21:00

Arriving at the Snowhotel, you can check-in at our reception where we will give you all necessary practical information and take care of your luggage. Our restaurant will be open, and it is recommended to order lunch before going out on your first adventure.

At 13:00 it is time to meet up at the dogyard for your dog sledding tour. The sledding tracks have a distance of approx.10 km. You are driven by our dogmusher with two persons together on a sled. If the conditions are good, you can get the chance to drive the sled yourselves when crossing the frozen fjord. (Clothes – thermal suit, boots and gloves – will be provided at the start of this activity.)

Upon return to the Snowhotel camp, the Gamme cabins will ready. If you booked the Snowroom, we have a lounge at the restaurant where you can stay and relax until the dinner program starts.

The dinner program will start with a guided tour of the Snowhotel. During your three-course dinner in Låven restaurant we will give a "how-to-sleep-in-the-snowhotel" tutorial for those of you spending your first night in a Snowhotel room. It`s a one night only adventure sleeping in our minus 4 celsius snow rooms. After dinner the icebar will be open.

After waking up from a magical night at the Snowhotel, you are welcome to our breakfast buffet which is served from 07:00AM until 10:00AM at our restaurant. Those of you staying overnight at a Snowroom will be kindly asked to check out of their room before breakfast.

After breakfast you will have time to enjoy our park; cuddle with the huskies and visit the reindeer, have some snowfun outside with our sleds, or go for a snowshoe or ski hike on your own (the equipment is free to borrow).

At 13:00 your guide will meet you in the lobby of the restaurant to take you on the King crab Safari. After dressing up (you will get a thermal suit, boots, balaclava, helmet and gloves) we drive by snowmobile-pulled sled out on the frozen fjord to fish the king crab. We take the catch home with us, prepare the crab, and serve a big and fresh lunch back at the restaurant. The activity finishes around 16:00, which will give you plenty of time to relax in your cabin, take a sauna, or go out exploring the surroundings before dinner is served at 19:00.

On the last day you can enjoy once again our breakfast buffet (from 08:00 until 10:00) before checking out. As requested in your reservation, we will take you to Kirkenes, the boat harbour or the airport.
