The Northern Lights Train
Step aboard for an unforgettable evening adventure with our Northern Lights Chase by train, departing from Narvik!
Join us on this unique journey as we travel along the historic Ofoten Trainline, away from city light pollution. This isn’t just any ride - it’s a unique quest into the Arctic night, chasing one of nature’s most spectacular phenomena, the Aurora Borealis. Surrounded by dark night skies, we will have great chances of witnessing the northern lights!
Our first stop is at the Swedish bordertown, Bjørnfjell station. After a short stop, we will continue our journey to Katterat station, located 373 meters above sea level.
At Katterat station, we’ll step off the train to immerse ourselves in the Arctic night, gathering around a cozy campfire under the open sky. Your guide will serve hot drinks and a fresh pastry as we wait for the northern lights to appear, adding warmth and comfort to this magical moment.
Afterward, we’ll return to the train and journey back to Narvik, hopefully bringing with you magical memories and images of this unforgettable experience.
