Cabin Overnight Package at Camp Tamok with Tromsø Ice Domes Snow Park Visit - Incl. Transport

Your Cabin Overnight adventure will begin with a 1,5-hour bus ride from Tromsø to the remote Tamok valley.

Camp Tamok

Our camp been exclusively built as wilderness camp for Lyngsfjord Adventure, presenting a fair balance between authenticity and comfort. It exists of traditional and rustic Northern Norwegian buildings: several lavvus, timber cabins and Arctic glamping tents, complemented with toilet facilities, a husky kennel and reindeer camp.

Upon arrival, you can freshen up and get geared up in the warm winter clothes and boots we provide, ensuring you stay warm and comfortable throughout your stay at the camp. Our camp host will inform you about the program of your overnight stay.

Evening Activity

Depending on your activity (chosen upon booking), you will head out on a snowmobiling tour, experience reindeer sledding or join the northern lights visit.

Overnight Accommodation

After your evening activity, you will return to the camp and enjoy a warm meal in one of our traditional lavvus (indigenous Sámi tent).
After the meal (around 22:30) you can check in to your accommodation for the evening (chosen upon booking): Arctic Glamping, the Aurora chalet or the Char cabin.

Daytime Activity

After spending the night in the Arctic wilderness, we will start the following day with a traditional Norwegian breakfast, followed by your daytime activity (chosen upon booking): head out on an exciting dog sledding or snowmobile tour, join the reindeer sledding and Sami experience or head out on a refreshing snowshoe hike!

After the daytime activity, a warm meal awaits you in one of our traditional lavvus (indigenous Sámi tent). During your meal, your camp host will inform you where and when you are expected for the second part of your daytime activity: your visit to the Tromsø Ice Domes Snow Park.

Enter the Park and discover the magic of the snow and ice sculptures. Wander around by yourself through a mesmerizing display of snow and ice sculptures, a snow maze and explore our two domes. Marvel at the amazing art coming to life with light in its natural surroundings of pristine nature and peaceful Arctic landscapes.
Get close to the two most iconic animals of Northern Norway: cuddle and take photos with our huskies and go visit the reindeers near the Snow Park.

After your visit to the park, your overnight adventure has come to an end and it is time to board the bus and return to Tromsø, taking with you great memories of your adventurous day out in the Arctic wilderness and images of the magical snow art!
