Program
Day 1:
- Transfer from Kirkenes airport, cruise harbour, or Thon/Scandic hotel Kirkenes, based on your choice upon booking.
- Check-in at reception
- 12:00 Lunch available in Gabba (optional, not included in the package)
- 13:00 Earlybird Dog Sledding Experience
- 17:30 Meet at Gabba: Welcome tour for all Snowhotel overnighters
- 18:30 3-course dinner in our Restaurant "Låven"
- 20:30 Ice bar is open (optional, not included in the package)
Day 2:
- 08:00 - 10:00 Breakfast
- Free time: Relax in the lounge, sauna, or explore the Park, meet huskies and reindeer
- 15:00: Check in to Gamme Cabin
- 18:30 3-course dinner in our Restaurant "Låven"
- 21:00 Hunting the Northern Lights by bus
Day 3:
- 08:00 - 10:00 Breakfast
- 09:00 Transfer to Kirkenes airport, cruise harbour, or Thon/Scandic hotel Kirkenes, based on your choice upon booking.
Recommended extra activities:
- Day 1: Sami Experience 16:30
- Day 2: King Crab Safari 13:00

Package Description
Arriving at the Snowhotel, you can check-in at our reception where we will give you all necessary practical information and take care of your luggage. You will have free access to all facilities at the park; including a visit to our dog yard, reindeers and the Snowhotel which will be open for visitors during daytime. The restaurant is open if you would like to order some lunch.
At 13:00 it is time to meet up at the dog yard for your Husky Earlybird Dog Sledding experience. We'll provide you with essential gear, including a thermal suit, boots, and gloves, before setting off. A skilled dog musher will guide the sled, with two participants seated together. The sledding tracks have a distance of approximately 5 km.
Since you will be spending your first night in a Snow Room, you can relax at our lounge in the restaurant or explore the Park until dinner.
During your dinner in Låven restaurant we will give a "how-to-sleep-in-the-snowhotel" tutorial on how to sleep comfortably in our minus 4 Celsius Snow Rooms.
After waking up from a magical night at the Snowhotel, you are welcome to our breakfast buffet which is served from 08:00AM until 10:00AM at our restaurant. We will kindly ask you to check out of your Snow Room before breakfast.
After breakfast you will have time to enjoy our park; visit the Snowhotel, cuddle with the huskies and visit the reindeer or go for a snowshoe hike by yourself. The restaurant is open if you would like to order some lunch. We could also recommend to book an extra activity, in addition to the activities included in this package, for example the King Crab Safari at 13:00. Just be sure to book this in advance so you have your spot on the additional activities secured as well.
At 15:00 you can check in and relax in your cabin, take a sauna, or go out exploring the nature before dinner is served.
At 21:00, a guide will meet you at the lobby of the restaurant to take you on a Northern Lights Chase by Bus. Make sure to dress up warm and bring your camera and tripod (optional). We will head out by bus to find the perfect locations away from light pollution and bad weather, to hopefully witness this amazing phenomenon. Along the way, your guide will take some photos and serve hot berry juice.
On the last day you can enjoy once again our breakfast buffet before checking out of your Gamme Cabin. As requested in your reservation, we will take you to Kirkenes, the boat harbour or the airport.
